We aim to take an active role in accompanying children and adolescents, providing resources and tools to enhance the community, the union and the development of healthy dynamics within society.

Planet Conservation aims to take an active role in accompanying children and adolescents, providing resources and tools to enhance the community, the union and the development of healthy dynamics within society.

Taking other social circus projects as a model, we decided to create Circo Caribe, a meeting and training space for children and adolescents of the South Caribbean community of  Talamanca. Through the teaching of circus arts and resources for body research we seek to install a sense of belonging, the value of caring for the community and the intervention of its participants in the creation of joint projects.

circo caribe needs

We aim to create our own space where we can develop, through different teaching modules in regular classes that will be given every week, the diverse and varied disciplines of the circus world.

We need trained teachers not only in the disciplinary, but in theoretical and practical pedagogical resources to work with children, adolescents and young people in vulnerable situations to facilitate regular classes as well as workshops in schools and various communities in Central America. We believe in the importance of involving international volunteers who have been working with Planet Conservation projects for many years. We aim to introduce students of teaching, social work, therapy, sociology, arts and others who can contribute to the project and take away a rich experience for their future professional development.
